An artist bio can be an effective tool to connect with target audiences and make an impression on industry insiders, by communicating your story even before your music is heard. A well-written bio can provide you exposure to a wider market, helps listeners understand your creative vision, and sets a tone for your potential reach and impact as an artist. Attend this workshop to learn how to craft an artist bio that connects with the fans most likely to be interested in your music, without accidentally adding red flags that tell talent buyers to avoid you.
Workshop your Artist Bio in a small group with our Artist Development Coach Justin Long, who has helped many up-and-coming artists and bands launch successful careers and get signed to labels, including his own band, No Address.
This is a great class to follow our January 22 Artist Development workshop, "Find Your Artist Identity and Develop your Story." While that class is not a prerequisite, knowing your story makes it a lot easier to write a bio! A video replay is available for rental upon request; please contact us at admin@performancehigh.net to obtain access.
